The successful candidate will join the Department of Biomedical Sciences and a Physiology Division with a team of physiologists, immunologists, pharmacologists, and toxicologists. S/he will have demonstrated expertise in teaching veterinary students in basic physiology or physiology-related courses (e.g., endocrinology, toxicology) in the DVM program. S/he will also have the ability to instruct pre-veterinary students in related Veterinary Prep courses. S/he will be expected to collaborate in research programs, resulting in publications in peer-reviewed journals, and to participate in an advisory capacity for students pursuing MSc and/or PhD degrees within RUSVM’s graduate programs and provide administrative or service duties. The Department Head may assign other responsibilities.

- DVM degree or comparable degree or PhD in physiology or physiology-related areas (e.g., endocrinology, toxicology) is required.
- Post-doctoral training is desirable but not necessary.
- The successful candidate will have a record of publication and willingness to collaborate and develop an independent research program.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere are required.
