This project is to support local efforts and leverage initiatives for conservation and environmental sustainability on SKN starting with the Narrows Marine Managed Area.
The project is a series of targeted training sessions for future conservation leaders detailing how to create the conditions for change to happen and how to motivate people to implement that change. Also, we will develop a conservation plan for reducing our impact on the Narrows by engaging the people, businesses and communities that are key for developing and implementing the plan.
This is a temporary role to assist in the planning, coordination and execution of the training sessions, and provide support in establishing and maintaining collaborations with government, NGOs and local businesses.
