    The Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports RUVC, primarily related to reception work, in the areas noted below. The CSR will be the first person most clients will meet in RUVC and as such the CSR must uphold the very high standards of customer service that RUVC prides itself on.

    Responsibilities

    • Answer the telephone, take and distribute messages in a timely and professional manner.
    • Use the computer for word processing and preparation of spreadsheets.Perform customer service activities.
    • Become proficient in the use of AVImark, RUVC’s medical records system.Management and scheduling of clients and patients and their flow through RUVC
    • Manage Spay Lab and Small Animal Clinics Rotation clinical programs by maintaining lists of clients and patients for enrollment and scheduling them as needed.
    • Provide assistance and information to students working in RUVC.
    • Provide assistance to clinicians and technicians to ensure smooth work flow through the clinic.Checking clients in and out of RUVC.
    • Prepare and mail bills for payment by clients.
    • Receive payments for goods and services rendered.
    • Record all daily payment (cash, checks, credit card) transactions.
    • Print the daily closing reports and deposit slips and prepare cash/check for deposit at the bank at the end of every day.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Hospital Director or Head Technician.
    • Flexible to work overtime and on public holidays as necessary.

    Qualifications

    Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

     

    • Associates degree or secondary school education
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years computer work and customer relations.
    • Working knowledge of billing software, Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Must have an interest in continuing education.
    • Must have experience dealing with clients.
