At Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, we recognize the power of ideas. With the goal of elevating our overall Marketing strategy, we are looking for a dynamic, innovative Marketing Communciation, Content Manager to conceptualize new ideas and drive them through to implementation.
Partnering with the Manager, Brand & Creative, the Communications Manager, is responsible for adding content to achieve our marketing plans and implementing long and short-term marketing strategies in order to meet RUSVM's objectives. This includes development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plans that competitively position the institution by establishing and maintaining a consistent image, marketing communications, branding initiatives, targeted marketing activities, and vendor selections.
Reporting in to the Director, Veterinary Education Marketing, the Manger, Brand & Creative will create the "look and feel" of all institutional marketing assets.
•Define the short and long-term strategy for content marketing across our marketing channels including print, broadcast, social media, digital marketing and CRM.
•Develop standards, systems, and best practices for content conceptualization, creation, and distribution.
•Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing and publishing content. Identify topics, target authors/contributors; schedule and confirm appointments; develop interview questions, conduct an interview, draft article or content; obtain approvals and distribute as appropriate.
•Research and make recommendations for content management and distribution technology.
•Collaborate and support team members to deliver general and program specific content needs.
•Manage relationships with PR firm to coordinate topics, interviewees, article approvals and public content distribution
•Identify and build relationships with Instructors and industry SMEs to obtain input for articles and content generation
•Design method of tracking and analysis to determine what content is working and why. Measure, analyze, and optimize performance across channels, including SEO.
•Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, tone of voice, and optimized for search and usability.
•Oversee all deliverables and ensure they are qualitative, on-time and achieve content goals
