At Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, we recognize the power of ideas. With the goal of elevating our overall Marketing strategy, we are looking for an adaptable, focused and innovative Specialist, Creative & Fulfillment to assist with the conceptualization of new ideas and drive them through to implementation. The Specialist will report to and work under the general direction of the Manager, Brand & Creative. The “Creative” team will create the "look and feel" of all RUSVM’s marketing assets.

 

This position is critical to the creation of targeted integrated marketing communications in support of RUSVM’s marketing operations, with primary responsibility for activating key marketing initiatives and bringing the school’s messaging to life. The specialist will work closely with internal clients and external agencies to plan and execute creative projects from requirements definition, identification of specific deliverables and timelines through final production. This position will actively participate in the marketing innovation and creative development process for the Marketing team, as well as function in a hands-on capacity to ensure on-time, on-message, and on-brand delivery against expectations.

 

Key responsibilities incude creating a wide variety of web-based marketing assets, including, but not limited to wireframes/website design, mobile web design, landing pages, digital campaigns, advertisements, HTML emails, animated graphics, web banners.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize new ideas to extend from existing brand campaign.
  • Apply brand identity systems, typography, photography, color and other ingredients appropriately to create innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs.
  • Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables.
  • Coordinate with project manager to manage workload and timing, and adhere to project deadlines and production schedules.
  • Ensure materials are delivered on time and on brand - with the utmost accuracy.
  • Participate in team status meetings and creative strategy meetings
  • Own and execute design projects from conceptualization to implementation; Turn concepts and designs into compelling, interactive content using tools such as Flash.
  • Able to adapt to a flexible and fast-paced work environment.


Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design with online media advertising emphasis or experience.
    • 3-5 years of relevant experience in an agency, marketing or corporate environment.
    • Macintosh Environment / Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign experience mandatory.
    • Knowledge of Flash, CSS, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, and ActionScript a plus.
    • Experience designing websites, working with online marketing display ads, and rich media ad units.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Familiarity of file compression, file correction, and optimization techniques.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail with ability to convey ideas clearly.
    • Ability to work quickly and function effectively as a team member.
    • Knowledge of the latest design software and web development techniques, as well as proven management capabilities and a solid portfolio.
