    Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine operates a small animal community practice hospital to serve the needs of the university and St. Kitts communities. In addition, the School provides an experiential learning environment in clinical medicine and surgery for veterinary students.


    The successful candidate will join a group of technicians and clinical faculty striving to provide the best animal care and educational experience for veterinary students.


    The responsibilities include:

    • Providing teaching and technical support for teaching laboratories based on both model and live animal experiences.
    • Management of a clinical skills practice area and assistance in creating student learning resources including task sheets, models and videos
    • Depending on the candidate support in either the large animal or small animal areas of animal care will be required.
    • Experience and a strong interest in teaching will be required.
    • Completes other duties as assigned.




    • Preferred candidates will have experience in the areas of working in an AVMA-accredited school or equivalent, at least 2 years’ experience working in high volume quality or referral practice.
    • Preferred candidates will have at least two years teaching experience either with veterinary technicians or veterinary students.
    • Licensure or certification as a veterinary technician is required.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere.
    • Creativity and craft/sewing skills desirable
